Only Water Resources department of Government of India is making efforts to clean Ganga. But what about other departments responsible for large scale pollution in Ganga? Industries department, building and road depart, mining department, local self government department, Municipal corporations, municipalities and other departments ? Whether these many departments have changed their rules and regulations so as not to allow pollution of Ganga. If notm, then in my opinion the project of cleaning Ganga and other rivers is not in right direction.
