It was very informative session started with Agriculture minister Radheymohanji,Susri Uma Bhartji[ministre of WR,RD,Ganga Rejuvenation] Dr.Pandya[River development] and Urban Minister Shri Vankaiya Naidu andProf.Sanwar Lal Jat.and Martin Smith minister of Australia.The key notes by Dr.Syeed,Mr. Pandya,Dr. B.N.Narawala,Prof.Durang sharing their ideas,concept about...Water,Food,Irrigation and Human devlopment.Tom.there would be parrallel discussion at Pragati Maidan.

I nteraction with SAARC... counteries fruitful,they are Global Water Partnership with us.May be new concept and idea can help in water-managment and riverdevelopment.

It was very informative and inspiring. It was heartening to see our senior leaders advocating the cause of inter linking of rivers so passionately. The views expressed by Sh Navalawala, Adviser to MoWR RD & GR (former Secy. MoWR) in the plenary session after tea break today were thought provoking.
